In short. Small tarallini of flour, white wine and olive oil, baked at 150 °C for 20 minutes and then dipped in icing. Named for Saint Lucy, whose feast falls on 13 December.
The dough is the same one that makes savoury taralli — flour, wine, oil, salt. What turns it into a sweet is what happens after the oven.
Ingredients
- 1 kg of type 00 flour
- 200 g of white wine
- 200 g of extra virgin olive oil
- a little salt
- icing, to finish
Method
1. The dough. Work the flour with the oil, wine and salt until soft.
2. Shaping. Roll out and cut into small sticks, then form little tarallini.
3. Baking. Bake at 150 °C for about 20 minutes.
4. Finishing. When they come out, pour them into the icing, then lift them out and let them drain.
