In short. Half a litre of espresso from a moka pot, sugar dissolved into it over a very low flame, then alcohol and vanilla once cold. Bottle, and wait a month.

The only rule that matters here: use freshly ground coffee, and make it in a moka.

Ingredients

  • half a litre of Italian espresso coffee
  • 500 g of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 300 ml of 90° alcohol

Method

1. The coffee. Prepare it in a moka pot with freshly ground coffee, and pour it into a pan.

2. The sugar. Add the sugar and stir continuously over a very low flame until it has completely melted.

3. Cooling. Let it cool off, then add the alcohol and the vanilla and stir well.

4. Bottling. Bottle it and wait one month before drinking.
